Membership of Wigtown and Bladnoch Community Initiative is free. It gives you a real say in what we do — and helps us build a stronger, more connected community for everyone who lives here.
Ordinary membership is open to individuals aged 16 and over who live within our community area and are entitled to vote in local government elections in a polling district that includes Wigtown or Bladnoch. You'll be accepted as a member as long as you meet these criteria — just complete the sign-up form and we'll be in touch to confirm.
As an ordinary member you can:
- Vote at our Annual General Meeting
- Stand for election to the W&BCI board
- Receive regular updates on our projects and plans
- Have a genuine voice in the future of your community
Don't live locally but want to stay connected with what we're doing? Associate membership is open to anyone outside the community area who supports our work. Associate members receive our updates and are welcome at our events, but are not eligible to vote at general meetings or stand for election to the board.
